Entry-Level Appliances
APLIGO has expanded its product portfolio to accommodate businesses and software manufacturers who are considering offering their solutions as appliances. In addition to an option for small-scale production, EcoLine offers affordable entry-level models. “Our EcoLine enables software manufacturers to enter the appliance market with ease. It also allows existing appliance providers to expand and upgrade their portfolios within price-sensitive market segments,” states Marc Emminger, Managing Director of APLIGO.
Simple, reliable, EcoLine
EcoLine has been conceived primarily for the SoHo market (small office/home office). Thanks to years of experience in the field of hardware appliances, APLIGO is in a position to provide reliable hardware components at a lower price. And that is exactly what makes the EcoLine platforms so attractive as entry-level models. Even providers already active in the market profit from the new line: With EcoLine, they can expand their appliance offering with additional models.
At present, two different desktop solutions are available to customers: a variant with Intel Atom D525 and one with an AMD G-Series T24L 1GHz processor. Both are equipped with 4 GbE LAN ports (Intel or Realtek). A 19-inch appliance is also under development. Furthermore, APLIGO can help customers select hardware and customize appliances, as well as provide support with the pre-installation of operating systems and software.
